the history

This was originally a pilot for a series Me, Ian Lynam and E*Rock made for a company called KPE. The plan was to have it shown with the re-launching of a certain cable TV channel's site that was supposed to have content geared towards the GEN-Y audience. It was finished around June 2000, but the cable channel site's re-launch was delayed and then I think they eventually weasled out of the deal, so we didn't have a place to show it anymore. The good folks at KPE said they will find another client, but that never happened and our agreement was that we will be able to show it after 1 year, so now it's here for you all to watch. It was the first time I made something based on a story and I think it came out pretty well. It was fun to work with Ian and E*Rock although I don't think I would want to continue this particular series just because I think I would like to take a different approach at a story oriented animation the next time. It was a good experience all in all . We met some great people some of whom I still keep in touch with and it was a paid gig which definitely helps us somewhat struggling bunch. We'd be glad to team up again if there's anybody willing to comission us. It'd give us another reason to hang out and come up with more silly ideas.
