- -- --- I want your sounds --- -- -

I have begun work on my debut album. Any kind of release is still far down the road, but nevertheless I am very excited. Working titles include "Journal" and "Music for Microscopes."

Of course, I am interested in anyone who would like to collaborate on a song, but most of all I am looking for your sounds. I want to chop them up, saute them, and gently lay them down against soft keyboards and trickling beats. Or maybe I will just toss them in a blender and turn them into a protein shake... Either way, please e-mail me your sounds.

E-mailed sounds may be used in the album so don't e-mail anything if you don't want to let me to use it. (no files over 4 megs or WMA files please. AIFF, WAV or MP3 is fine)

The kind of sounds I am looking for (anything): microscopic sounds, the ghost that lives in your apartment, your heart beating, singing in the shower, the bottom of your pool, your broken organ, your screaming kazoo solo, the sound of your neighbors arguing, your home-made instrument, chickens, something wierd you downloaded off the internet, your best beatboxing, your guitar string breaking, your pet rock eating breakfast, your screaming stylophone solo, copy machines, your commute, smackdown on a vietnamese talkshow, secret tapes of your trekkies' anonymous meetings, your cousin freddy talking in his sleep, coleslaw at the local canteen, conversations with your "imaginary" friend, your foreign exchange student reading Emily Dickinson, the sound of one hand clapping, one of those dolls where you pull the string and it says something stupid.... Be creative!
