- lazy butt is back -
or
- you're never alone -
- with a clone -
| Well,
I have been a huge l a z y butt and haven't touched the computer except
once for 10 or so minutes sence about december 23. But now - quite
independently of the fact that it is new years time I have resolved to
write in my journal 99% of the time and also start writing back to my penpal,
Emily again! Actally that's a two person desicion! But we are
still good friends and we have written steady for a loooong time until
one day and then counting now as the end of our break in writing I still
think we are pretty hot. Well maybe that's the wrong wording.
The story of how me and Em got to be penpals is actually quite interesting. I think around when I was in 8th grade or maybe 7th (I'm in 11th now) I wrote into a magazine with a letter with some of my interests and such, a few months later, it was partly in the letterbox section of the magazine! A month or two after that I got a strange letter from the magazine it's self! It said that someone wrote in and wanted my address so they could write to me, but they had privacy polocies so they sent me her letter and gave me the option to write back! |
So we became penpals that way. We wrote very regularly for a long
time and then we had a deficit after she went on vacation or something
and we never quite picked up writing again. I think it has been less
than a year. So now I am hopeful that we will be legendary again
as great friends! Also, we always call eachother our clones because
our interests are very close. So you see- you are never alone with
a clone! As for the holidays which I was a twit in not writing during. I was absolutely spoiled rotten with a game boy color and Pokémon game carterage for it from my parents. A sort of cool male type neclace thing from my sister, money from my grandparents which was spent on a Zelda game which was in full color and amazing graphics for my game boy, and many other wonderful things: zen potato garden, old navy shirt, a book on how to make books, a soap with a rubber duck insode of it (inside joke), emily dickinson's collected works, a very nice pen set, some other things too but I have to quit now so I can practice my Oboe for one whole hour. ~Mafu |
