This is something that was given to me by a magazine editor from Germany. I probably would've never got it otherwise. I don't know very much about them except that they are from Iceland and supported Bjork on tour. Their website adress they list in the insde of this cd seems to have expired long ago. The magazine editor said he had just gone to Iceland to meet them and was very please that they were very nice people as well. Their music is certaily very nice. Maybe more closer to Boards of Canada than Bjork or the Sugarcubes. It's not all digital though I think. It sounds like there's definitely some analog instrument sounds in there. Just as some of Bjork's songs can conjure up visual images of Iceland, I think Mum's songs seem like it would be the perfect soundtrack for what I imagine Iceland to be like.
