OK, finally an E*Rock release... sort of. Even though he's got his own label, he doesen't have very many releases of his own. I think if I had a label of my own, every other release would be mine, but that's because I have no self restraint and I would be putting out crappy stuff. Anyway, so I am happy that this is out. This is actually a 3 inch CD, so it depends on what your screen resolution is, but this picture on the left might actually be bigger than the actual thing. Because it is in such a unique format, I think it's a limited issue, so it will likely sell out soon and become a collector's item. Anyway, it comes with a nice picture booklet with pictures like you see on the right. I don't know if I can accurately describe the concept, but it I think is supposed to be like a soundtrack to a Kung-Fu film that doesn't exist. The booklet tells the story. There's a surprisingly amount of music for such a tiny thing. There's 5 songs altogther. Kind of a funny mixture of soothing electronic beats with king-fu fighting sounds. I really know nothing about E*Rock's partner in crime in this one Mr. Harald "Sack" Ziegler except that he's in Germany and is in a group called "Sack and Blumm". I think it's so funny that these 2 guys connected over not just their music, but also kung-fu movies which comes from yet anotehr culture. I found that when I went to the Netherlands, the kids there were just like kids here. I guess it's just globalization of pop culture is happening as we speak and this is music history in making. yay!
