Superforce 5 - Review by MAFU

I guess if MAFU was a record label then this would be my first release. My friends in town, who are very musically talented put together this great band. I would describe it as danceable retro-pop, with a flair for hints of disco in the guitars, and awesome 70's and 80's esque keyboard lines. Occasionally, hints of more modern techno flutter in the mix. Debbie does an awesome job as well, with her really fun and creative vocals. The band later broke up, but the recordings were eventually mixed down to create this full-length album.

This is the perfect CD to play while you are hanging out with your closest friends, take it to the roller disko, or it would make the perfect gift for any Inde-Pop junkie.

The CD is available in all 5 iMac flavors (as a joke) and also in very limited quantities of camouflage, disco ball, and rainbow.

The photos are of one of the band's final concerts.. This one wasn't so much an official concert as much as an informal chill-out session on my birthday 2 years ago.... P.S. If you were wondering that's me and alyssa in the top picture. Alyssa will soon be making her debut as the robot in the space movie that I'm doing. Also, the drummer's wife plays a part....
